I agree with you about Ms Hunter.
I have been volunteering on Bouge Banks to push for a Democratic
victory -
placing signs and talking to my neighbors - why no yard signs for Ms
Hunter
at Hdqts?
I have also been on four door-to-door canvass's in Morehead City and
Beaufort on four Saturday mornings handing out material including a
recommendation supporting Ms Hunter. These have been coordinated by
Sean
Conner of the Carteret Democratic Party.
We have been handing out info on good judges and telling people how
important it is to vote the "back" of the ballot including Ms Hunter -
not
just the party candidates on the front.
Now to the point - we in Carteret County need poll watchers, runners,
callers and drivers to make sure we get out the full Democratic Vote
and
that the vote gets counted - we don't have enough people.
Will you please ask everyone who cares for better government to help
maybe
one or two hours on Nov 7th - call Hdqts at 726-1607.
Dear Mr. Brown:
Jack Dawsey took the liberty of forwarding your email to me. I hope
that
You do not mind.
Thank you for all of your efforts on behalf of myself and other
Democratic
candidates in Carteret County. I was down there a few weeks ago and
there
are some great Democrats.
In answer to your question about yard signs, I was told that Supreme
Court
candidates cannot have signs along the roadway. Many of the candidates
or
their supporters do not abide by this rule. I did not want to take the
chance and decided not to do road signs. Other Supreme Court
candidates do
not have signs either, so I am not the only one. Instead, we have used
things like blog ads which are more effective than signs.
However, we do have bumper stickers or you can create your own sign
just to
have one at party headquarters if you wish.
Thanks again to you, Sean and all of the other volunteers for your
efforts.
Best wishes,
Rachel
