"Mullah" GOP State Chairman Blount Claims Christian
Coalition Speaks For All Christians. Justice Martin Agrees?
Dear Friends and Voters,
North Carolina's version of "The Sopranos" is at it again and issued
their
latest hit piece, I mean email alert, which attacks me. Let us see who
the
truly nonsensical person out of touch with reality is.
My battle is not against good decent Christians. I am one myself. I
know
there is a God and have talked about God's love for all humanity, both
Christians and non-Christians on my website. I believe, as St. Matthew
says
in Chapter 6, of praying in secret, not as the hypocrites do.
Hypocrites
like the Christian Coalition. They talk a good game, but when one
compares
their talk to their own actions, we see another side.
The Christian Coalition does not speak for all Christians and they
certainly
do not speak for me. They are comprised of the likes of Jerry Falwell,
Pat
Robertson, Dr. James Dobson and Ralph Reed. Ralph Reed, who ran in the
primary for Lieutenant Governor in Georgia and lost, was mired in the
Jack
Abramoff scandal to which Jack Abramoff plead guilty of extorting money
from
Indian tribes among other things.
Pat Robertson called for the assassination of Hugo Chavez. I am not a
fan
of Chavez, but I have never called for the assassination of anybody,
let
alone a world leader. And Dr. Dobson made some similarly bad comments
and
bashes homosexuals, never stopping to think that God himself created
them
and if God was so powerful and omnipotent as claimed and their
existence so
offensive to him, then surely such a god would wipe them out as He did
in
the ancient towns of Sodom and Gemorrah. So why doesn't He do this?
Could
it be that people like Dr. Dobson need you to believe what he says just
so
he can continue to wield power over you and control you?
Any god who tells humans to convert to a particular theology, who
instructs
people to whacks off another human being's head or who rejoices in
humans
driving airplanes into building is no god, certainly not the God of
love
that I pray to. However, the mindset that drives people to do such
despicable acts in the name of religion is the same mindset that we
find in
the Christian Coalition. Its ok if we assassinate world leaders
because we
do not like them. Its ok if we steal money from Indian tribes. Its ok
if
we bash queers. Its ok if we tell the rest of you, whether you are
atheists, Jews, Muslims or other Christians, how to live. Its ok to
torture
other human beings. Its ok to spy on Americans or hold them
indefinitely in
prison. And make no mistake, what these people want is their own
Christian
theocracy established in our government and state. Whatever happened
to the
separation between church and state that is supposed to be present?
That is
why you should look carefully at those justices who attended the
Christian
Coalition banquet.
Once again, I have to ask why the attention from Mr. Blount and the NC
GOP?
If I am really so out of touch or crazy as he asserts, then why the
attention? Why indeed? Its because I am not neither crazy nor out of
touch. Its because I have exposed these hypocrites for who and what
they
are, including Justice Martin. And its because I am out in front and
dangerously close to winning. And Mr. Blount, the NC GOP and the
Establishment can't have that.
