Subject: If I can be of help, let me know.
Dear Ms. Hunter,
I have been pondering how I can be of help to you as I read on your
site
that your campaign manager left in January of this year. With all that
you
are dealing with I thought I would find out if you need help in any
areas. I
do not know if I personally can be of any help but I have some ideas
about
getting you some support. The ideas I have are of getting some people
from
my Church volunteering to help in some way (although I haven't talked
to the
local organization yet), or sending a request to MoveOn.org members to
be of
assistance to you. As the election draws near help may be something
that is
needed.

Thanks for your offer of help, but I really do not need assistance as
we
have struggled to do the routine things applicable to any campaign and
we
have made it this far.
What I am asking for is that people who are registered to vote go out
and
vote on or before election day. This election is important for our
state
and our country. Although judges for the NC Supreme Court and Court
of
appeals are the only statewide races, congressmen, state legislators
and
local officials are also up for election. If you believe that we need
to
change direction, then it is imperative that we go out and vote to get
new
blood in office that is not corrupted yet by the current political
establishment.
Even if you cannot vote, you have friends, neighbors and co-workers
that
can. Encourage them to do so, even if they have not voted in the past
or
say to themselves, "they are all the same." All politicians are not
created equal. You have to look, but there are some good people out
there
running for sheriff, county commissioner or for congress. Also, if
you can
tell others in NC who are interested in my candidacy to go to my
website and
learn about me. If they believe in me and like what they see, that I
am
someone who cares about bringing justice to them and doing the best for
them, that I am not a professional politician who is part of the
"beast"
then I would appreciate their vote.
