Ron Paul Considers Visit To Alma Mater

Durham, N.C. - College Republican and conservative columnist John T. Plecnik announced that he is negotiating with the office of Rep. Ron Paul (R-T.X.) for a possible visit this semester. Paul is the chairman of the Liberty Caucus, a coalition of representatives that believe in free markets, private property and limited, constitutional government. Rep. Walter B. Jones (R-N.C.) is also a member, and has already agreed to visit Duke University on October 25, 2004.

"The Duke College Republicans hope to honor Congressman Ron Paul," said Plecnik. "Since graduating from the Duke University School of Medicine, Paul has served his country with great distinction."
