Geoffrey R. Snyder
I just found out about your campaign and website from a local news
program
(I live in the Buffalo New York area) and here is what they had to say
in
their 'commentary':
http://www.wb49.net/buffalo_ny/ (I can't link directly to it, but it is
from
the 'Get This' Webpage section towards the bottom of the page)
"Moving on to competitive politics in North Carolina, and it's getting
nasty. Both Democratic and Republican party leaders are asking voters
not to
cast ballots for State Supreme Court Candidate Rachel Lea Hunter. She's
a
former Republican running as a Democrat. And, Hunter's website refers
to the
State Democratic Party Chief as ''Dur Fuhrer." Hunter, now putting both
feet
in her mouth, slammed a black Republican congressional candidate who
switched parties. She said, quote, "like a good slave, he has returned
to
the plantation." Can't we all just get along?"
Naturally I was intrigued and had to find out more about you. Nice to
see
the spelling mistake coming from this 'news' station in their
commentary
(the station really is a front for the neo-cons to spew their mindless
garbage as they are owned by self-professed 'conservative' Sinclair
Broadcasting )
Anyway, onto your website! It is great to see a vocal anti-war and
pro-liberty candidate such as yourself, and your great responses to
your
hate mail are both well-written and are delightfully 'none-too-subtle'
in
humor as well.
Keep up the good fight and take care!

Dear Mr. Snyder:
I used to live in Erie, Pennsylvania and traveled to Buffalo for
cultural
events.
Thank you for your support and encouragement.
Like you, our media is controlled by neo-cons as well and they spout
the
official line. I have given up listening and get my news from other
sources. Don’t believe all that is printed; the media are being used
to
demonize me and they were just looking for a way to do it. I will
continue
and keep getting my message out to people like you who know what is
going on
and want to do something about it.
Even though you don’t live here, spread the word to other who
acquaintances
or relatives who do and are informed about events as you are. If
not,
find candidates in your own state who are like me. Good candidates are
out
there, you just have to look. Volunteer or donate if you can or even
share
email lists. Anything you can do to help spread the word!
Best wishes,
Rachel
