Kerry Craig Walker
Hello,
I wanted to let you know that I was very happy to read about you
from
Sherry
Swiney of the P.A.T.I.C.K. Crusade Website. I have been clean and
sober for
over fourteen years and when I got clean this time something changed in
me
in
every cell in my body. Since my 38th year I have not been willing to
comprimise
truthfulness and honesty in any way, and refuse to be part of any form
of
corruption or deception. Sometimes this can be difficult as the beast
attempts
to destroy you. It is nice to hear about someone like you. I have
forwarded
your letter to over 60 people.
My story of success changed about five years ago when I was the
victim
of a
violent crime. Then I was arrested as the perpetrator. This nightmare
grew
bigger when the young detective decided he was going to do what ever it
took
to
make me guilty of crimes that I didn't commit. After over a four year
battle
that killed my mother, I finally won. This should never happen in
America
and
this is the BEAST you are talking about.
I hope you win and become a NC Supreme Court Justice!
Best wishes,
Kerry Craig Walker
Dear Mr. Walker,
I am glad that you have pulled your life together. I am sorry that you
had
to endure both a struggle with being the victim of a crime and your
involvement with the criminal (in)justice system. I am glad that you
have
persevered despite the loss of your mother.
You have run up against the beast and know what it is like and how
difficult
it is to fight. That is why I am engaged in this fight – to try and
restore
justice to our system, to protect what remains of our constitutional
rights
and to stop misconduct of the type you described by the police. Some
prosecutors are just as bad; I have seen them lie and conceal evidence
or
refuse to disclose the same. In fact, we have had several cases of it
here
and nothing has been done.
Thank you for sharing my statement around. I appreciate it. Keep
spreading
the message in North Carolina, Georgia and elsewhere. We have to keep
pounding the message until the people wake up and assert themselves.
Best wishes,
Rachel
