Rachel,
We've been on vacation this last week, so I'm just catching up on emails and such. Don't worry, you're not the only one asking tough questions, I am too and I'm a Republican. I wasn't thrilled myself with Jones' support of the resolution and no, I don't agree that Iraq was wrong -- that is, unless I find out something different than what I do know and that all the reasons for going into Iraq were right. Additionally, this war had to be addressed on the ground somewhere, and Iraq was it.

Having said that though, I would like to take a moment to comment about the Nazi thing. I don't relish the idea of having that linked to my party, at least, not the side of my party that are indeed true conservatives at heart. But I will say this and please hear me as I do mean it? Our government, from local, to State, to Federal and all that goes with it has been moving solidly -- BOTH Democrat and Republican -- in this huge troubling episode of what I think of when I think "Nazi".

Many would argue with me against that notion, because they have fog for brains and are aok with whatever as long as they get to be entertained and live as they like. Our nation is full of citizens that think and behave as children, and instead of adults taking the hard job on of protecting this nation for their children and grandchildren, they've essentially in just 30-50 years, destroyed this country. Nazi-esque in the manner, but much slower, manipulative and ever so gradual eating away at the fabric of this nation.

Trouble is? Some are just now beginning to feel it, though it has been in progress for quite a long while. This is what our citizenry gets for being out of touch and greedy and dependent.

The majority will deserve what they get, but rest assured, none of us at all are prepared for what we face in the near future. Just the disintegration of property rights in this last move of the Supreme Court tells the tale and those that refuse to see these last parts literally burn do themselves a huge disfavor.

I love this country as it was and what it truly meant. Our Constitution has been so eroded away by the most dysfunctional, most vile and nasty things, that few even know what freedom is anymore and the majority? They are found as cattle. The sadder awakening is that I find even Republicans blind to it all.

This problem, as like what you state here and what you feel was done to you? This is not a Republican problem at all. THIS IS AN AMERICAN PROBLEM.

Whether you are Democrat or Republican, THIS is your America now and continually disintegrating as we knew her. Both Democrats and Republicans are as guilty as the day is long and our government in general, operates just like this.

Its just now more of us are getting to feel it in ever increasing numbers all at once. I still say, if it is not addressed by an angry population as a majority whole? Its over and considering the cattle mooing everywhere still believing manna rains down from its god -- this government -- then I would say it doesn't look too well for our getting a chance to turn it around.

When government was used by the people to be a thieving tool of property, freedom and money -- to operate in just the way "caring" people say we had to operate -- that has been the catalyst for what is coming upon us. We are moving right now as we speak into a different world, and if you ask me, being called "Nazi" will be rather complimentary in comparison to what the real truth is.

LOOK AT THE LAST 50 YEARS without all the blinders that were everso carefully placed on behalf of political correctness and the nonsense we have been fed? I've always said that by the time a true majority of American citizens bottom to top realized what was truly going on, it would be TOO LATE.

The Supreme Court ruling.... or our leaders being picked for us.... or being bullied by powerful OR poor people because of our freedom of speech --- its all part of the disease.

An American disease. First symptom? Dependency and blindness. It has turned into full blown cancer Rachel.

Dear Ms. Wilkinson:
I have contemplated your messages. You are right about this country. The Democrats have been as equally guilty of using the force of government to achieve their ends and keeping their voters dependent and distracted as the Republicans.

I would like to see a return to limited, good government and respect for our property rights and our liberties. But I fear that won't happen unless the people become more involved. There are many others who think and feel as you do. The internet is the one tool we have left to spread the word. And the message is getting out, so perhaps the people are beginning to wake up slowly.

As for the war, we have been fed an endless stream of manure from the "mainstream" media and told so many lies I am inclined to believed none of it. The problem is our meddling and our intent to spread "democracy."

We have no right to meddle in the affairs of other countries. It is not up to us to spread democracy or Americanism abroad. We are not world policeman or savior. We do not understand this, or maybe we do, but we have proceeded anyway. And we are not doing the things we should be doing and doing what we should not. Meanwhile, our liberties and property rights are being eroded.

I do not have the solution. But if elected, I would like to change a tiny part by returning our judiciary to its proper role and improving the law.
